The package rsync is a program for synchronizing files over a network.

This update contains patches that fix the following issues:

  • Added an xattrs_bug patch to fix a bug where xattrs don't get sent correctly.
  • Use proper configure options to make ACL and xattrs work.

The following fixes were also made, which are only effective if you are rebuilding rsync from Sharif Linux sources yourself:

  • Add BuildRequires to make sure libattr-devel and libacl-devel are available during build time.
  • Add make, autoconf and gcc to BuildRequires.
