The package autofs contains a tool for automatically mounting and unmounting filesystems.

This update contains patches that fix the following bugs:

  • autofs previously logged debug messages to the system log when using LDAP, which made it appear that they were error messages.
  • autofs did not ignore the --bg and --nofg mount options previously, while there were irrelevant for autofs mounts
  • Fixed key and mapent length check
